shit, i have three cases of it in my mom's garage just sitting there. i should send it over.

In other cases of battlefield improvisation in Iraq, U.S. soldiers have bolted scrap metal to Humvees in what has come to be known as "Hillybilly Armor." Medics use tampons to plug bullet holes in the wounded until they can be patched up.

"What the hell is a man doing with a tampon? In battle? Alright, if that's all you got...shove it in there!"

I can't (or more accurately, don't want to) believe this is still an issue. I remember seeing an article like this LAST YEAR and threw a couple of cans in a care package we sent last Xmas. The story indicated that Silly Sting was probably going to be in short supply in party stores because the Pentagon was going to be buying up most of their production.

Is the Pentagon so fucked up that somebody couldn't pull this off by now?

Sending bulk aerosol shipments is a regulatory and logistics problem for private parties so, despite the guy volunteering to fly it to Kuwait, the government needs to get into this business pronto.
