As the title insinuates, I'm conflicted. I don't know if I should shelve over the dough for the Wii or the Xbox 360. The Wii has alot of features to it that make it sound very appealing: the unique controls, the message system, the unique fun games - and that most affordable price tag. The problem? Zelda is the major game for the Wii, but I already have a gamecube, so it's silly to get Zelda just for the Wii. On the other side of the issue is the 360; more games that have proven themselves, better graphics, a system that has had more time to work out its bugs, etc. The main games I would want for that system would be Dead Rising and Gears of War. I hear however, it is not reverse compatible with many Xbox 1 games, including Ninja Gaiden and Halo 2, but I'm not 100 percent on whether this is true or not. Also, the Xbox has a reputation for shitty controllers; has this shit trend continued over onto the 360? Maybe I'll just wait until a PS3 sells for less than 500 dollars in a couple years. I could do well to take a break from gaming anyway. Any advice?

Thanks Jon. I guess that settles it then. Now if only I could find a place that still has some Xbox 360's...

I have a Wii and a 360.  M$ needs to up the compatibility.  I picked up Psychonauts recently because I've really wanted to play it.  When I got home, I found out that it wasn't on the list.  Very disappointing.

Yeah, the compatibility thing confuses me some. I guess I've been spoiled by the ps2 into thinking it's a simple case of putting the dvd in the machine and having it run all willy nilly.
