View Full Version : Sega Genesis Collection

This was just released for PS2 and PSP. I picked it up for PSP this afternoon. This thing is absolutely loaded.

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
Altered Beast
Bonanza Bros.
Columns
Comix Zone
Decap Attack starring Chuck D. Head
Ecco the Dolphin
Ecco II: The Tides of Time
Ecco Jr.
Kid Chameleon
Flicky
Gain Ground
Golden Axe I
Golden Axe II
Golden Axe III
Phantasy Star II
Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom
Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millenium
Ristar
Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi
Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Super Thunder Blade
Sword of Vermilion
Vectorman
Vectorman 2
Virtua Fighter 2

The only thing that sucks is that the PSP version costs $10 more for no reason whatsoeve, which sucks because this is the perfect kind of thing for a handheld. I'm also disappotined by a lack of Toe Jam and Earl. But whatever, the games themselves play much better than on emulators.

I LOVE these kinds of collections. I got the Capcom one and a Midway one for the PSP that I like a lot. I'm gonna get this one too, that's an assload of games.

It's going on my list based on Shinobi and the Sonics. I'll play it after GTA which I'm playing after Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Excellent system, probably my favorite of all time. But the best game isn't on there! Flashback.

Kid Chameleon alone is worth 20 bucks in my opinion
I still have a Genesis, so should I bother picking any of those games up individually? They are usually pretty cheap, around $2 a pop.

Wow, I never wanted a Genesis when it was "new," but this collection makes me wish I had a PS2. Weird.

I sold my first sega genesis with all the games for a quarter ounce of mushrooms. This looks good maybe I'll pick it up.

Picked it up tonight. Fuckin' sweet! Big time trip down memory lane. Well worth the 30 bucks.

But I was SO CONFLICTED! Right next to it was the latest Capcom Reloaded collection! It had 3 of the classic fuckin' Street Figher 2 games like Hyper Fighting, along with a lot of cool Capcom titles. I think all the Super Ghouls and Ghosts are on there too. But alas, I couldn't really justify spending 60 dollars on games this week so I left it. Plus, I'd kinda just ignore the one game until I was done with the 1st anyway, so I'll get it in a couple weeks.
