christmas tree, that is.

I setup my fake christmas tree yesterday morning and just finished putting the lights on it tonight. Next up are the ornaments and garland, but I'm not into that shit, so I'll leave that to everyone else

yes, it's fake and it's spectacular

real.

But I always feel bad about it because I am a tree-hugger. But then I just remind myself the tree would have been cut down anyway and is dead either way.

The moral of the story is it's not a lie if you believe it.

Gotta be real. Real has that piney real tree smell. Fake, no smell. No smell, no good.

I liked real trees until we got too lazy to put one up. We have a tiny table
top charlie brown tree that we store in the basement with the ornaments
and lights still on it. But now that we have a kid, I think we'll have to get
real, full-sized trees again.

My tree is big, beautiful and FAKE! I would love to have a real tree but the fact is my cat always climbs up it and knocks it down. so i guess he wins.

I fought for years to "keep it real". Last year, my mother gave us her fake one (she couldn't figure out how to set it up). We set it up, and to tell the truth, I liked it. It was very real looking. It didn't have the nice smell that a real one has, but we'll never have to pay 40-60 bucks for a real one anymore.

I don't understand why someone wouldn't buy a real one, if they're a tree hugger, though. They come from Christmas tree farms. It's not like people are practicing deforestation for Christmas trees (except for tree poachers).

I was always a real tree purist, but FMJew thinks a real one is pointless and messy. So this year I will get a medium sized fake one. The kitties LOVED the real ones.

Real tree are the best!!! I remember celebrating Christmases into my teens with the same Christmas tree.

Even though our tree was fake, it was by far the prettiest.

It's been a tradition since I was little, takin' the fam out and cutting our own tree.

So a few tree-huggers may not like me, but who gives a fuck!
