Most Effective Punishment

<p>hey buddies, i am doing a research paper on effective forms of punishment and am wondering if you'd be so kind to help me out..Which do you think is the most effective form of punishment in the US? This would be for first time&nbsp;offenders of&nbsp;class A or B felonies (excluding 1st degree premeditated murder)..Thanks!</p><p>Oh, in case your not sure this would include: 2nd degree murder (no premeditation, impulse murder), 3rd degree murder (vehicular manslaughter), rape, aggravated assualt, robbery, burglary, kidnapping and arson.</p>

true, and unfortunately our modern criminal justice system only executes the 1st degree murderers, which is why I didn't inlcude that.

I think some sort of corporal punishment and rehabilitation for most. Jail for only the worst, murderers and rapists. Its a shame a lot of petty criminals and minor felons get tossed in jail to get ass sexed and even worse. Thats not fair to put minor criminals in with these psychopaths. Anyone with a possiblility of getting out needs a clear path to quickly get them back in society with as few of the stigmas of their past as possible.<br /> <span class="post_edited"></span>
