Blackjack. Nothing beats the high you get when you string together a nice winning streak in it.

I really wish they'd cave and allow sports books in AC, though. At this point, does it really make any difference?

I play Let It Ride Poker. I've done pretty good for myself at it.

(I was going to post a link to the thread where I discussed how I won $55,000 but my posting tools are all fucked up.)

I always like the Let It Ride Poker and low-level limit poker, although I haven't played in ages.

my game is definetly no limit hold em. when im down at ac i love to play the tournaments at the Showboat. I also love to play cash at the borgata. Not only is it fun, but i love to play against men who think i cant play. I have to play a lot more aggressive because females dont get a lot of respect at the table. after 5 or 6 hours they start to realize im not there to just be cute. best part about playing is the poker rates for the rooms...great rooms for great value.

Marc knows, but I'm all about no limit, usually 1/2, poker. Play a lot at the Borgata and recently stopped playing the tournaments due to time and the prize. For most, I can win more money on 1/2 no limit if I'm patient and can leave at any time. My biggest take is almost 2K, and I've lost only 180 in one sitting. My averag over the last say ten tables is around +500 or so. I haven't lost in a while, knocking on wood, but I sure as hell have got myself up high and came way back down. My problem is it's about having fun and chattin at the table as well. Sometimes this leads to some good friendly games and a little too much alcohol but I usually know when it's not helping my bluffs any longer but hurting my game. Last time I went a little too deep and lost about $150 back after being up $800 or so. If I played it right I would have been well over 1K but I was toasted. Key to winning, don't have two bottles of wine at Bobby Flays (sp?) before going down to the poker table to continue with beer. Great at first, but not for the long haul.

1/2 nl at Caesars.I just got back from Foxwoods in Ct. I played 1/2 nl on Saturday. THe games are VERY loose there. If you have a solid hand, you can make alot of money. The only thing that sucks there is, that you have to pay to play!! You have to put in a 5 dollar chip every time the dealers switch!!

But it is really nice there, and the poker room is HUGE!!!

I used to be a big Poker guy, but since it has blown up so much (Jay Mohr) I started playing Black Jack. The Poker Rooms are ridiculous to even walk through any more.

Heck there's even a Texas Hold'em table where you play against the house and get paid on what type of hand you have. When will it STOP????

I don't find any enjoyment in throwing coins in a machine and pushing a button. Blackjack gives you a little control over your destiny. Like you i'm really an average player so I definitely stay away from the anchor seat. It drives me nuts when someone takes a card when they have no right to, and they help the dealer while blowing it for all the other players.
