It's been almost ten years since Limp Bizkit burst on to the music scene. I was never a fan, but knew plenty of people who were. I don't think you should have to defend choices in musical taste, but which of you guys were into the Bizkit? I'm sure some of you kids were rolling, rolling, rolling with your red Yankee hats. Who's got the balls to admit it?

i liked the music but didnt buy into the look. i never had a red cap or wore a baseball hat backwards. hell i dont even wear baseball hats. they ruin my hair. But i dug the music, i still do. to me, it was raw, loud and in your face. My chick was huge into it. she loved it more than me. one halloween she was Fred Durst. she looked like a hot tranny.

you can throw eggs at me if you want to.

I loved the first two albums. It was fast and aggressive but they just couldn't keep it up.

i used to be big into them, but gave up as they went along. the first 2 records were great, i dug chocolate starfish, and results may vary is shitty at best. the last record, where wes came back, then left again, was awesome. it was pretty heavy with decent lyrics.

one thing i always liked was fred running his mouth. he shit on scott stapp which was very cool - i liked that little beef.

A hat shop owner called me a loser for jumping on the bandwagon and wanting a red yankees hat.
Oh, BTW, I got to interview them once and they were all really cool. Fred was kind of a dork, though. And when he left the room the rest of them couldn't wait to tell us that Fred's breakdance name used to be PopTart.

I openly admit to liking shit music, but even my Douche Alarm went off full force when I heard this shit.

Oddly enough, I didn't hate them because of Durst when they first showed up...I hated them because of their douche-y guitarist and his terribly ridiculous outfits that he put on to try and distract the world from the skronking dreck he and the rest of the band were assaulting us with.

I got tired of hearing people always vouch for him when bashing the rest of the band..."oh, Limp Bizkit sucks ass, but that Wes Borland guy can actually play!" When his solo work came out and it was even more unlistenable than his Bizkit mess, it was delicious.

If I could push a button and erase nu-metal from history, I wouldn't even think twice about doing it. The only band from the era/genre I could ever tolerate was the Deftones.

My cousin loved Limp Bizkit and Korn to a nauseating degree when "Faith" first came out. That entire summer i wanted to do nothing but continually beat the ever-loving shit out of her.

And i lost some respect for Method Man when he guested on whatever waste of airspace that song was.

If you can ignore Fred, it's almost a kickass song.

It's almost impossible to ignore that voice, it sounds like there's a turd stuck in his throat when he sings.
I still think the original family values tour rocked. I'm lame.

I'm a Huge Korn, Fiter, and fan of the "family Values" type music, so when Limp Bizcit hit the scene I was a huge fan. It's lost something over the years and the music dosn't resenate like the old days and their music now is just horriable but I loved 'em back in the day.

Not all music can transend past the era it was made in. Rage, Tool even Korn in my humble opinion trancended and evoloved with their music, Limp bizcit was good for what it was but never stood a chance with their one gimic and people have moved on.

I wore and still wear a red baseball cap, but that's because I'm a St Louis Cards fan.

same-oldest stuff is the bestest of their work.

They were a mediocore band at the right time. Timing alone made them and kid rock big. Their music will never be looked back on with respect or love. Them and blink are the bubble gum bs of the 90s.
