It's a nice, dry morning for once and I just got up and walked the dogs. The air was crisp and refreshing and for some reason I'm really dreading work today. I'm not talking the normal, time for fucking work again/same old shit drag, but the I'm really not feeling it today vibe. I guess I'm missing the golf season and the outdoors with the weather change and would like to hit the links or go hiking right now real bad. How about we all ditch work and call a pick up game of sandlot football?

Who's in?

ME!

Work has gotten really bad for me lately, and it's getting harder and harder to force myself to go every day. The company I work for was bought by a huge corporation earlier this year, and even though they assured us nothing would change things are changing at a phenomenal rate. All for the worse.

People are starting to jump ship left and right. I'm going to have to do the same.

Funny, I know that game all too well.

What's really hilarious is that my commission check was less than half what it should be last week, and I'm not the only one who's been screwed. I was told they've "had some problems running the numbers properly" and fully intend to make up the money they owe all of us sales guys.

I'm not holding my breath.

I am a Truck Driver, my work is usually a combination of fatigue, coffee, boredom, road rage, and disallusion{how did i get here?is this as good as i get?}. Yes...Work Sucks. But two little boys who have a warm safe home and clean clothes to wear make it so very much worth it.

You work hard ...take a day off who cares !?! throw on that ratty tee shirt and too loose pr of sweat pants and take a day to chill.you won't be productive today in your current funk, so relax. Use this post as your permission slip. It'll help! wellll OFF TO WORK! see ya.

My work is good in the respect that it pays the bills and pays them easily, but lately my small office of 5 people has seen everyone in a bitchy mood making it almost impossible to do work. Add in a 9-6 work day and the fact that they're trying to get me to go spend my winter sorting 30 year old papers in an unheated cement and tin storage cubicle that is outdoors and you can see why it is slightly difficult to make the 45 minute commute some mornings.

It's almost friday and even though we don't get a day off unless the stock market is closed my boss is probably giving us next friday off so a 4 day weekend is in the works.

It's almost unbearable, we have over 40 folks and 95 percent are just fricken assholes of late. I'm not a negative person by nature but lately they're just bringing me down royally.

So yeah, I'm down for a game!
