I make Thanksgiving dinner every year for my family. I am looking forward to eating my sausage stuffing and sweet potatoes. who cooks for you and what are you looking forward to eating?

The last few years, I have gone to my girlfriends parents house. Her mom makes the best stuffing, and killer pumpkin pie.

I take my family to a freinds house, we have about 50 total. theycook the turkeys. I bring my own sausage stuffing for the turkeys. I also make all the pies usually 15, Apple , pecan, pumpkin, lemon merangue, sweetpotatoe, and choc. cant wait to add 5lbs

My family usually goes out for Thanksgiving, but I am going to ask my mother to get some octopus and quail from Arthur Ave for after or before our big meal. I haven't had octous since June and I am really looking forward to it. I'm hoping to use the "visiting from college card" to get some awsome food.

I'm on dessert, my mom is the bird, stuffing and gravy, Nana's all about the sides and with good reason: best sweet potatoes ever. None of that awful marshmallow crap, just lotsa butter and brown sugar.

I have to say though I absolutely loathe turkey. Not just my moms. Thanskgiving is the only day I even eat the stuff and even then it's only one slice. I do love the skin though.

I love the marshmallows and sweet potatoes. Never understood why there is such a dislike. Its sweet, for Christs sake!
I love the idea of Thanksgiving, but it usually becomes a rush rush kind of meal and I get sick. We usually eat the whole thing in a half hour.
My wifes family does it right and they make KILLER turkey! They soak the whole thing in a 5 gallon plastic pail with red wine for a week before they cook it. Comes out awesome!

Not since last year's bloody turkey disaster. I think my mom's getting a
little too old to do the cooking anymore. She only cooked the bird for an
hour or something last year and it was raw in the middle! You should have
seen the look on my poor husband's face.

Thanksgiving is my least favorite meal of the year and I'd love to be able to miss it. There's nothing to like about it.

Every year I pass the plates right by me and have a small helping of boxed mac and cheese. My friend's family goes out for sushi every Thanksgiving and I am really jealous of them not having to deal with turkey, potatoes, and all the rest of the miserable things served on this holiday.

Last Thanksgiving I mentioned to my family that we should go out for dinner this Thanksgiving. It's a lot of work (I usually bake all of the desserts), too many people don't like Turkey, and there's no afternoon spent cleaning up.

My parents are pretty traditional, so I didn't think they'd go for it but they did! So, we're all going out to eat next Thanksgiving. YAY! I can drink on Wednesday and sleep in on Thanksgiving.

This year myself and three friends are going to the Lions game while our ladies cook dinner. After a whole day of drinking, we eat to borderline sickness. All the homemade goods. We then watch some of the Dallas game, eventually pass out. The girls clean up and take us to our respective homes. Every year it is such a stressful holiday. Now let's all give thanks.
