Are you kidding!!

It was hysterical!

I mean when Homer on the WRecking ball hit the wall...i thought id die laughing, and then they somehow managed to top that with him hitting the store...but when they sent him back to hit the wall again...OH MY GOD!! pure genius. The hilarity continued with him hitting the store, and wall, a few more times...but i dont mean to spoil this comedic gem for you. The trailor ended with perhaps the funniest moment in cinematic history when homer slowly fell off the wrecking ball crashing to the floor..with a "thump".

Fantastic stuff!!

After last season I was pretty sure "The Simpsons" had run its course.

After the first two episodes this season I'm 100% positive.

Embarrassingly awful.

The Simpsons is probably my favorite show of all time and I just haven't been able to watch the last few years. It just isn't good anymore (except for the old reruns).
I'll be there on opening weekend. The Simpsons have given me entertainment 4 days a week, 16 weeks a year, for 11 of the last 18 years.

That trailer was actually anti-funny. Why do they think we've been watching Road Runner cartoons for the last 15 years?

Season 9 is coming out on DVD, and looking over the episodes list, I definitely want it...season 10 is the last one I know I "need." I think 11 and 12 will probably end up in my collection, but I really can't see myself wanting to suffer through anything post-season 12.

I heard that in this season Cato finally admits that OJ did it and that he helped clean things up and he was the one that dropped the glove.... Oh, wait wrong Simpsons... Sorry...

I am so afraid of this movie. My favorite show of all time has been awful the last, I'll be generous and say, 8 years. I used to anticipate every new episode with the zeal of an 8 year old on Christmas eve. A couple of years ago I tried to catch it. Now, I watch hockey until 9 when Familiy Guy comes on. I had high hopes for the Ricky Gervais episode last season. Wretched. I blame you, Dana Gould. You and your awful sense of humor have ruined one of the most brilliantly written and presented shows. Gone is the timing. Gone is the witty dialogue. Gone is the character development. Too many times in recent episodes do I find myself cringing when they go for the easy joke. I shouldn't be predicting what Homer's going to say. I should be stupefied that someone could come up with something so out there.
But I'm sure I'll be there on opening night. Me and all of the other lifelong Simpsons fans, clinging to the hopes that that which provided us with so many quotable moments, sprinkled into so many conversations, if for nothing more than to detect others with similar television watching schedules, can stupefy us for just 90 more minutes. I'll be there.

I'm the same way. I used to record every episode so I could slo-mo through the pans so I could see the things the writers hid between the walls and in the ground.

I can't even watch it anymore. I too just wait for "The Family Guy" to begin. Too bad.

Don't worry Lleeder, by Homer he meant Matt Groening, so I guess he wins, oh wait, we don't know him either...ahhhhhhhhh!
