I think everyone has one. A song that when it comes on the radio, you tend to drive a little faster than the speed limit allows. Three in particular for me are Radar Love by Golden Earring, Green Grass and High Tides by The Outlaws, and Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult.

The only time I have a drinking problem is when I don't have a drink

Any fast paced Dave Matthew's Song, but it has to be live. 2 Step, Warehouse, Watchtower, u name it.

And at night when you head out to clock the hoes - Biggie, DMX, Dr. Dre or Snoop!!!

AND THAT'S ALL I GOT TO SAY ABOUT THAT

"Happy" or "Shattered" by the Stones always make me push the pedal to the metal, as does "When the Levee Breaks" by Zeppelin, and a good number of other songs.

Those'll have to suffice for now.

Sooo many of them. Any Beatles
(I actually have two CD's one
mostly acoustic stuff and one
more rock-y stuff that I
listen to only when driving -
both only songs that I can
mostly sing along, since I
have the worst voice ever... I
still turn it up as loud as it
goes so I can't hear myself
singing, since I have perfect
pitch and it drives me INSANE
to hear myself singing out of
tune), Grateful Dead - Me & my
Uncle (short though), Bertha,
Sugar Magnolia, Allman Bros -
Jessica, CCR Down on the
Corner, and a few weird ones -
that If You're Going to San
Francisco song (I find myself
taking long road trips there
with relatively high frequency
and I love popping that song
in), Barenaked Ladies if I Had
$1,000,000

You know, a better question
would be, if you had to put
together an album to listen to
in your car on a road trip,
what woudl be on it?

LA Woman by the Doors
or Milquetoast by Helmet
those are grade A speeding tickets waitn to happen.
Or maybe the first alblum from Rusted Root when I have a long haul.
But most of all, I listen to Ron and Fez at night. So between 7 and 11 pm its really just them. Then lovelines after that.

Sigh.... No new R&F for 2 weeks. Work will be so long now. Because you know Al's tapes will only contain bits of Al. Geez

It fluctuates, depending on things like mood, weather, scenery and company, but two favtites are Phil Colin's "In The Air Tonight" at night, and "Desperado" during the day.

Also, "Woke Up This Morning (The Sopranos theme song) by A3 is perfect for the Jersey Turnpike.

Gvac- When the levee breaks is a mighty wicked song.
Definate accelerator syndrome there. I like to bring the led zep box set with me and really jam. Zepp3 is by far my favorite because of the folky guitar work by Page. Gallows pole, Bron y aur stomp, thats the way,out on the tiles, tangerine. By far the best work done by zeppelin
Would have to say Golden Earring as well. DAMN so many songs can cause so many speeding fines. Best of CCR, Police box set, really the problem is, when you get where you are going; do you want to get out of your car and miss all the great music in your cd player. Cant tell you how many times I ve been late due to driving out of the way to get my songs in lol.

Sigh.... No new R&F for 2 weeks. Work will be so long now. Because you know Al's tapes will only contain bits of Al. Geez
