Did they add any classic Van Halen or AC/DC yet?  Because until they do, especially the latter, this game is worthless.  If I'm basically doing expensive air guitar of the future, I want the ultimate air guitar bands represented.  As soon as they bust out some "Back In Black," I'll plotz.

Van Halen "You Really Got Me" is on there, as well as a lot of older music.

I cant wait to get this!  GH1 was getting old with the same songs.  I agree with JJ let us know how the Dethklok song is!

The multiplayer on GH2 is a million times better than GH1, you have one guitar playing the bassline and one playing lead.

Grim Sanity showed me a You Tube video of some people trying the Dethklok song.  It's fucking insane.I don't want to play the game personally, but if it gets people interested in music and playing, it's cool by me.  I hope it inspires a new generation of kids to pick up an axe and shred.

Freebird has been unlocked. <img src="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/clap.gif" border="0" />I am loving this game. Sure I rock out on medium but it's about all i can handle. My only problem is that some of the covers really suck. "Mother", and "Killing in the Name" being the worst offenders.

I just unlocked the Deatklok song and barely 3 starred it on hard.  I can only imagine how hard it is on expert

SooooooooAbsolute best song on this game?TROGDOR.  They have Trogdor the Burninator as performed by Strong Bad.  AND THE TROGDOR COMES IN THE NIIIIIIIIIIGGGHHHHTT!!!!  Must have played it through 25 times last night.

The HO/PO are definitely much easier.  I 3 starred everything except that surf song on hard my first go through.  On GH1, however, I breezed through hard, 4/5 starring everything my first go through, only having any trouble with Cowboys From Hell/Bark at the Moon.  Moving on to expert tonight and expect it to be MUCH harder than GH1 Expert.  I play real  guitar as well so maybe it helps.

I learned the hard one in GH1 to always let the game save after you play a song, even on the screens that don't give any warnings about turning the ps2 off. Well, I try to convey this to my brother-in-law, but came home to find this screen when I turned on GH2:<img src="http://www.zentraed.com/ronfez/ghmemory.jpg" border="0" width="304" height="237" />  So, I get to start over...

At the same time, I record myself on my laptop with a webcam. Getting things sync'ed up if you combine the video later is tricky, but makes for some nice editing possibilities, not that I ever get around to the projects I dream up. That fucking BLOWS!  It reminds me of when I played this stupid RPG Chronotrigger on SNES for like, 3 weeks, saved at the last boss, and my little brother did SOMETHING that fucked up my save file and I got to start all over too.  Extra suck for this game, because there are some songs I absolutely hate and have no interest in playing again
