I was watching this made for TV movie the other day on Hallmark called something like "A Season For Miracles" and that got me thinking. Like Rons theory of no matter how dumb the movie is, if it's about sports he will watch it. I think movies about Christmas and the Holidays in genreal are the same. No matter how bed the premise, no matter how bad the movie I will still be watching at the closing credits without switching the channel.

Just for the record this isn't a "what is your favourite christmas movie" thread. I'm sure thats been done. Having said that, my favourite Holiday movies are: A Christmas Story, Home Alone, Bad Santa and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Now for the movies that are god awfull but will watch from beginning to end just because they are Holiday Movies.

Surviving Christmas, Ernest Saves Christmas, Three Wise Guys, Jingle All The Way, The Stupid Tim Allen Movies (all of them). I could go on ferever I'm sure...

So do Holiday Movies fall into the same category as sports movies do for you?

Bad santa, National Lampoons and Scrooged I can watch. Any other movie that involves Christmas seems like its been on too much for me to endure. Oh I also like Gremlins if that counts as a holiday movie.

Saw 3 is quite the holiday heart-warmer! Just ask Bill O'Reilly.

My all-time favorite xmas movie. I own the DVD and watch it at least twice
every winter.
*EDIT* the photo in the quote isn't showing up. It's "It's A Wonderful Life"
