bought 20 bags of candy, sat at home while my wife and kids went scourging for more candy. Anyways I had 8 kids show up tonight . The first few i gave them maybe 1 of each that I had. The kids came in like 20 min increments, the last couple of groups got whole bags of candy ,and some 2 bags

Bought three of the 2 lb. (nestle) variety packs and we went through two of them. That's even with taking our daughter out for 2 hours. We had a ton of little kids from 4PM-6PM, then there were alot of the older kids from 8PM-9PM. It was a good showing for a weekday.
So much left over. Now is it wasted candy or an oppritunity to get wasted and chow down on some good treats.

I'm not sure where you people live but in Yonkers the kids still wansta get paid. I went thru 14 bags of candy before 8:00 and wound up adding about $40 in quarters before the ringing stopped.

We had one family come to our door. My neighborhood used to be full of kids, but not so much anymore. More candy for me!

On a side note... I was so pissed while delivering pizzas tonight. The better the neighborhood, the more the families walked in the middle of the street. At one point, it took me about 3 minutes to travel half a block. This wasn't just kids. Their parents were walking in the middle of the street, too.

Not one fucking trick or treater, but that might have something to do with the gun fire in the neighborhood.

I never ever see trick or treaters, but while at break from work in Charlestown their was a big block party with a band and shit surrounding the Bunker Hill Monument, lots of kids. Nice to see something like that these days.

We started out with about 20 pounds of assorted candy.

By 7:30 there was one handful left so we turned out the lights and went to the bar.

20 bags? You were begging to be disapointed, or were you scared of getting egged? I went out in DC last night, so I didn't see how many kids were in my neighborhood, but I did see a lot of people setting up final decorations when I was on my way out.

we have half a cauldron leftover... as long as you have some willpower and don't grab handfuls at a time it's nice having around when you get that itchy sweet tooth and you just need just a bitesize piece to quell the craving

"quell?" very impressive Funkman...

Same Story, slowest year I've ever seen, and the costumes were either really well done or it was kids without costumes.... so much leftover....

I didnt waste a dime. I walked with my nephews and just "borrowed" from their bags and went home with a bunch of stuff that I liked.
