Most Talented: Seger or Mellencamp?

My older brother loves Bob Seger, and he says that John Mellencamp is overrated. What do you guys think?

<p>i don't know how to start a poll yet (or create sig pic, or add animation...) but:&nbsp; I would like to see a poll between the <strong>rolling stones</strong> and <strong>the who</strong> for runner up to <strong>beatles</strong> for best british band.&nbsp; I think&nbsp;<strong>pink floyd</strong> comes in third followed closely by <strong>oasis</strong></p><p>I would put <strong>tragically hip</strong> up against <strong>triumph</strong> for second place in canadian bands (after <strong>rush</strong> at #1, of course.)</p>

Mellencamp's folksy, blue-collar, Midwest schtick has annoyed me since 1982.

Seger because he is timeless whereas Mellencamp had good music but it got old pretty fast
