Zinfandel got a bad name from that girly white zinfandel.  There are actually some tasty Zinfandels out there.

I know it's a little late int the year but, Zinfandel goes great with barbecued chicken.

I thought I heard something along the lines of:Zinfandel is just the name of the type of grape. To get a white, you need to peel the skin of the grape before you make the juice.I'm thinking about making a white and a red next year, but I'm not sure what kind of white to make.

As for a Zinfandel, the wife and I are quite fond of Ravenswood.   It's got a nice balance between sweet and spicy.
