<p>I'm using one of the last Betas or some shit at work and on my laptop. I like it. No idea if all those problems people complain about IE have been fixed, but it works nicely. Like the tab at the top, copied the idea but expanded on it to where you can click a new tab quick.</p><p> </p><p>I say try it. </p>

<p>I've been using it for a few weeks... It's good but there are some bugs I'd like to see fixed.</p><p>If you have any porblems with this site, there is a patch that will fix the problems. I'd give you the link, but I don't feel like searching for it.</p>

<p>Thanks reef. I know all the tricks. I just don't need a verification to install. I hate stirring the shit.</p><p>I've been running XP pro for almost 5 years on this machine.</p><p>I am legit at the office. I'll check in the am.</p>

<p>i use WindowBlinds to customize my windows Xp and IE7 beta isn't compatible, also wouldn't run programs from the browser (ex- i click on mIRC link that opens mIRC to certain Server...doesn't work) I also found when i tried to unistall it, it still eft alot of files behind. I ended up reformatting HD to finally get rid of it.</p><p>but that is just my exp, on my box.</p>

I'm finding that, when I put website icons on my desktop, the icons for those sites stay the way they are supposed to appear. That's something that has bugged me for a long time, with older versions of IE. That's a good thing.

I found that no matter what I do following all of the various directions, and workarounds that IE 7 will not install for me. Maybe that's a good thing. My compy's been scanned numerous times for viruses and spyware and I've run various file checkers so I don't know what the deal is.

did you shut down your spyware and virus scan software, and other programs, before trying to install it? I unplugged my cable connection, and shut everything down first. Worked just fine.

Not sure what you mean exactly, but in Firefox, you can double click the tab bar and it'll open a new tab for you

<p>Firefox and it's Live Bookmarks RSS reader thing is what makes me never want to leave.</p><p>Until another browser does it I wont be able to switch, I am too addicted to scanning RSS feeds to leave.</p><p>Does IE 7 do live bookmarks for RSS or does it stick it all in it's own window like everything else? </p>

<p>So far it's okay. I love Firefox and I can't wait for 2.0 but this is okay so far...at least it feels like a step up for IE anyway...welcome to where Firefox has been for quite some time.</p><p> </p>
I am liking it. I don't want to say I like it more than Firefox yet, but it's looking that way so far.

I tried using it on Reefs computer today.. I really do not think it is necessary, or better. In fact, it looks like it is more difficult, control wise. I do not have any issues with my current 6.0 version.

Im sticking with firefox. Ive been using IE7 since the early beta releases and the tabs are a nice touch. Without anything added it is pretty comparable but you can do so much more with firefox with ease. Adblock, themes, noscript etc. all give firefox the edge for my uses.

I don't like it. How the hell do I uninstall it? Is that even possible?

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel->Add Remove Programs
check the box that says "Show Updates"
look for the one Titled Internet Explorer 7.
On windows you cant ever fully removed Internet Explorer but this will roll it back to IE6 (or whatever you had before you installed IE7)

Just installed it. Very happy, love the spell check. No more searching google to see if I spelled things right! Flash block and IE View are the only extensions I'm using right now.

<p>I'm rocking the Firefox 2 at home and work and so far there's one feature I don't like so far.</p><p>In 1.5, if I clicked a link in an email, it would open as a new tab. If I clicked a link with a target in the href tag, it would open as a new window. In 2, it defaults to new tab for both, which is annoying because some sites I want opening in a new window, but if I set new window in the preferences, the links from outside firefox (like my email) also opens in a new window.</p><p>But the memory usage from firefox has definitely improved from 1.5 </p>
