He had actual TALENT, he played an instrument & wrote his own songs!!! He opened a lotta doors for a lotta performers!!! <p>When I was a teenager I'd enrage my mother by saying Chuck was the true king of rock and roll. She's a major Elvis fan, you see, and I'd bring up the same points Bobo did in his original post in this thread. </p><p>Many years later, I still believe I was right. </p><p>Thanks for everything, Chuck.
