I have no problem with this at all.  I don't understand why people would go to youtube for a shitty version of something they can get with bittorrent.

Youtube would have been in a bunch of legal battles even if Google didnt buy them, it is actually more beneficial that Google bought them because of their legal department and connections to entertainment world.  Youtube has all copyrighted material basically...hence why UFC on numerous occassions has had stuff removed and has MLB, NFL, NBA and so forth.  Youtube would have collapsed without Google eventually.  and like someone just said...use bittorrent.

i'm much more concerned about this popup i just got on partypokerThe President of the United States has signed legislation that now causes PartyGaming to have to cease taking wagers from U.S. customers. We will also suspend accepting deposits from U.S. customers and examine potential offerings to U.S. customers that would be within the new law. This will not affect the Play For Free games and your Account will remain accessible.  what kind of shit is this? if i pay taxes on MY money that i'm putting into MY account what right does this government have shutting it down??? Unfortunately this will be gone for good, much like when they shut down tittybars, or passed a law that if they serve alcohol the girls have to be dressed, what politician is going to fight on the side of the gamblers, or tittybar patrons??

libertatian=I think not, and I was a registered libertarian years ago.  Ayn Rand is a know nothing cunt. Seriously, the libertarians are great when it comes to individual rights, but as a whole, they suck ass when it comes to protecting individuals from the corporations.  If the libertarian party was willing to grant significant government intervention when it comes to corporations, I would be behind the party 100%.   Go read  the Jungle by Upton Sinclair-it is about an industry that is unregulated and apply that to any other industry and you will see what true modern libertarianism will bring. As far as YouTube is concerned, the whole thing is bullshit.  Sequoia Capital has more to do with this deal than YouTube itself.  YouTube was cool, but no cooler than the hundreds of other sites doing the same thing.  In fact, half of the stuff that I used to check out on youtube has been pulled in the last 3 months.
