Looking back at MTV and the crappy videos they used to play..well, most of the music was OK, but many of the videos were awful!
For some reason, I can't get that Scandal video "Goodbye To You" and That Blondie video for "Rapture" out of my head. I know there are worse..anyone?

wheres the story

why doesnt it decribe the song

whos that girl

damm fisheye must be cheap

Band playing in a small room

and finally sicne its been played out all ready even though its kinda cool for fans to be apart but the Band playing with fans suronding them singging along is done unless its a concert video witch they dont do any more

but there are some good ones
on now you just only see them before 7 AM and after 11 pm or on mtv2

unfortantly i only got cabel in 97 so i only saw mtv on weekend at my nanas house and i wish i was around in the 80s or atleast have some kinds of dvd that will make it like its the 80s

There were fewer videos back
then so it was always an
ecclectic mix:

Sister Christian (Night Ranger)
Electic Avenue (Eddie Grant)
Sweet Dreams (Eurythmics)
Twilight Zone (Golden Earring)
C'mon Eileen (Dexy's Midnight
Runners)
Stray Cat Strut (Stray Cats)

brain still foggy from bar
crawl. can't think of anymore!

I wish I loved the human race;
I wish I loved its silly face;
I wish I liked the way it
walks; I wish I liked the way
it talks; And when I'm
intoduced to one; I wish I
thought, What jolly fun!

When MTV first came out, it seemed like every other video was a Rod Stewart. I never realized he had so many. He cornerd the market back then. Made me hate him even more seeing him all the time.

How about that "Video Killed the Radio Star" video? Kinda describes the transition from Radio to Music Television.

I'm gonna make a video called "Real World and like a million other shitty shows Killed the Music Television"

And DON'T PAY FOR MTV2!!!!!! They took the music off MTV, and then expect you to pay for it on another station?! WRONG! Fight the power!

I remember the Missing Person's "Destination Unknown", Bow Wow Wow's "I Want Candy" and Nena's "99 Luft Ballons" got a lot of play in the early days. Oh, and we can't forget A Flock of Seagulls "I Ran".

AJ beat me to it.Remember how he just spun around while looking in a mirror.The camera was "concealed" with aluminum foil.
