Funny but why a disgrace? The Tigers were a top notch team all year and they won hands down playing as a team. Something the yanks haven't done in years. Sterling and Susan on the radio broadcast were so condescending towards the series loss and the Tigers, just like most of talk radio, that it made me scream. Even the board yank fans just thought the yanks would roll over them even though they had/have the best starting pitching and a good bullpen during the regular season.

I do like the use of the Tigers' logo " D " in disgarce and also on their towels saying Destiny.

You make a good point that the Yankee loss shouldnt be considered a disgrace because they lost to a team with the best ERA and was the best team in baseball for almost 5 months.

What does make it a disgrace is how you look at the fact that they were up 1-0 in the series and their offense, which was supposed to be the best ever, and pitching, which in all honesty was never any good, was completely inept when it needed to be. Once again throwing a 19 spot on the Devilrays in August doesnt win playoff games.

Its a disgrace that you go 20+ innings w/out scoring a run despite having runners on in almosty everyone of those innings.

And when did Derek Jeter become so untouchable that you cant mock him ?

Derek Jeter, classy???!! He is truly the FACE of the yankees; Smug, Cocky, and self congratulating.
I still dont know how everybody, unless you know him personally, says how classy Torre is.

My argument is not that he isnt classy but just how do you know ?

I've got no evidence to say otherwise so for that matter every manager in the league is classy.

What he isnt is a good manager and why he's going to be fired from yet another team.

And let me ask a question. If A-Rod goes to another team, and they win the title, will all Yankee fans use the line that he couldnt win in NY ?

Is that how that goes ?

And I really want to know how this team's O got labeled the best ever!?? Fuck that? Due to what? They beat up on shitty pitching when it meant shit. They ranked second in the league THIS year in average to the Twins (.287 MN /.285 NYY / .284 Tor) and 5th in HRs. So WTF?? Perhaps you guys thought you could field a lineup of 12 batters, then you would be even better bc of all the all-stars on the bench.
