Last night for dinner i made chicken flavored Ramen noodles. When it was done heating i added in fresh broccoli and green beans.

I don't know if it was because i was starving or the combination of the three but it was the most satisfying meal i've eaten in nearly a month. So much so that i'm almost giddy to go home and make it again tonight.

Anyone else craving anything particular, weird or just tasty? And no, K,D, Lang is not welcome in this thread.

I have a very fickle palate and am very stuck in my eating habits-meaning i rarely venture outside of my norm. Aside from when i was in Prague and deliberately ordered everything i was unfamiliar with i have never gone out of my way to try new foods.

To add to that i am also extremely lazy when it comes to cooking. If i have a day off i will make something from scratch but that is rare and i since i don't eat after 630pm i am typically delegated to peanut butter sandwiches, cereal, ramen or just a handful of vegtables and crackers. When i mix things that would seem like "why would you do that?" i usually like it and stick with it until i find something new.

So that's my nutshell.....Shelle.

I've had it bad all week for a particular kind of trail mix that has almonds, peanuts, chocolate covered rasins, white chocolate chips and dried cherries in it. I'm getting a huge bag of it after work today.

cheddar sun chips.....love them more than life somedays.
Lately I've been having cravings for a nice grilled cheese on wheat sandwich. But I've been too lazy/preoccupied to actually go pick up fixins.
Every week I seem to crave something different that I just have to
have. Last week it was cinnamon Life cereal, and I've almost gone through 2
boxes.

Grilled cheese. And I must say, I make a damn good one. If you say, "how do you make a good grilled cheese?", you just don't know.

Best drunk food ever = Doner Kebab. It's like a Turkish version of the gyro, but even better. Used to get them after drinking when I live in Germany. Haven't found a good one since I left.

I've had a 10 year craving for my grandmothers borscht. She passed away in 1996. It used to have little peirogi's stuffed with mushrooms floating in it. It used to gross me out as a kid, but I grew to love it.

What bugs me is when I get a craving for something I haven't had in a long time. I get some, then realise why I haven't had it in so long. Because it SUCKS! The most recent example is Slim Jims.
