I was on a Nickelodeon show in the crowd. It was a game show with two sides and you had to vote or some bullshit like that. I got on it during on of those Universal Studios back lot tour things.

I was on the tv a few times but then my father yelled at me to get off before I broke it. Seriously, I was a background artist (normal people call them extras) for a Sarah Jessica Parker tv show back in the early 1990's.  I was in LA visiting friends and we went to eat at this place called The Panty.  When we pulled up, we noticed all the light and cameras and that there were more people than normal in line waiting to get in.  As we joined the back of the line there were homeless looking people in line but when we spoke to one we found out he was a background artist.  The show was set in Philly and it was supposed to be winter (it was July) so they were all bumbled up.  Unfortunately, I was wearing shorts and at-shirt so they had to surround me with real background artists so all you saw was my head.

Talk about perp walks, I was the sherifff holding the arm of DC's infamous child murderer Haddon Clark. He murdered an adult female in '92, Laura Hoteling, and 10 years earlier had murderd a young girl Michelle Dorr (I think that was her name). When they tied him to the murder, local and national press covered the case. My mugg and this shitbag had our faces on the front page of the Washinton post in or around 1991 or 93. around 1973 or 1974, I was on a local dance tv show on DC's WDCA TV station. The fledgling rock group Kiss was the guest band before they were famous, and they lip synched "Got nothing to lose". They were hanging around before the gig in street clothes, looked like a typical group of NYC fellas. Way before the taping,  I  was taking a piss at the urinal and one fo them was behind me waiting. I told him I was so nervous about being on TV that I couldn't piss, he said not to worry, was no big deal. My big claim to fame was that I had seen Kiss without their makeup, when they were hiding their true faces behind greasepaint.  True story.

I've been on the news twice.  1st-When I was 15, I lived in N. Michigan.  The government was gonna close down the Air Force Base that I lived at, and we held a huge rally to try to keep it open.  The local news asked my opinion, and my quote was "It sucks."  They used it on the 11pm news. 2nd-I'm a crossing guard, and while crossing in 2004, some very angry old man decided that I was taking too long, so he tried to push me out of the way by using his car.  The school board and the local police decided to use this incident to get bigger budgets for more crossing guards/equipment, and put out a bunch of news releases.  I had reporters streaming in and out of my house for over a week.  I was dubbed the "Couragous Crossing Guard" (against my will) and recieved a medal, a commendation, and a certificate of appreciation!

i've been on tv a bunch of times.  mostly interviews and man on the street types stuff.  here are some highlights: age 8   - local child asked about how much he likes summer camp age 17 - local high school football player asked about how  he thought his team would do age 19 - local wrestling fan asked about his views on the  popularity of wrestling age 20 - local "punk rocker" asked about his views on the closing of a local venue age 22 - drunken baseball fan at brewer game age 24 - downtown drinker walking around age 25 - local man who is asked about starting drinking at 6am on st. patricks

I have been on the local news for various artsy happenings a coupla times.  Oh, and once for being attacked by the po-po at a demonstration during the Republican Convention in Houston, TX.I am the first speaking person in the video for "An Evening With Neil Gaiman."  That's right, I'm a super-nerd.My spouse was on an episode of Weakest Link, but unfortunately it was him, and he was only on for the first segment.  He was cute, though.That is hilarious about the Peter Murphy show, Ms. Fuzzybutt!Most of my friends in college were in the Toadies video for Possum Kingdom, but I was studying.  Stupid, stupid studying.

I was a voluneet fireman for 11 years and was in the background shots of fires reported by the local news.  I was in a shot waving at the Camera at the Today Show when Dave Matthews was the guest.
