Well that wasn't the ending I was expecting - kinda anticlimactic

It didn't leave me as unfulfilled as the Sopranos but some things bothered me :

Did he think that Deb deserved to be cast at sea the same way his victims were ?

How did he survive on the ocean when his boat was destroyed ?

Does he really think that Harrison is better off w/ a woman on the run that could potentially be captured at any time ?

Some things I liked :

That Deb died. She had to be punished for killing Laguerta.

That Dexter was punished in the way that he lost all of the things he loved.

That they didn't actually have Dexter die and that they left it all unspoken.

That they didn't try and tie everything up and provide explanations for everything.

I could see them doing a show at some point about a grown Harrison.

I think they dropped hints along the way that he might be off in that he was talking to an imagineary friend.
