tough dilemma.  as a former plastic surgeon, now a psychiatrist, i deal with this issue pretty regularly.  i might even say it's my speciality (but my thesis is still with the editor, so don't go telling everyone just yet)if you want to send some pics, i can evaluate them and get back to you with my advice.

I'd never make a broad sweeping generalization because I know there are instances when implants are useful, such as after a mastectomy.  I'll never understand getting them merely for vanity's sake.

There are too many factors. I have seen really good breast jobs and really bad ones too. Are the breasts going to be hard, like an angry inflated basketballs? It all comes down to $$$$.  If she's willing to do her research and spend the money ($5K+), she can get a really nice set of implants from a plastic surgeon that knows what size would be best.  Also, there is minimal scarring (yes, REALLY!) if the procedure is done well.  You can't really go by what you see at strip clubs, since a lot of those chicks get boobs that are way too big, and the surgery is done poorly enough to leave giant scars.

My neightbor got a boob job (and a face-fix) before I met her.  When she moved in, I thought damn, she's pretty hot.  Nice tits!  Then, she gets drunk with my wife one night and......ohhhh yeahhhhhhh......Sorry, lost my thought.  So, she gets drunk with my wife one night and tells her about her face and boob fixes.  Next time I saw her, she was less than half as attractive to me as before.  Could be that I just got used to her being around, but now months later, I see those tits next door and they just don't look right.  I would love to see pictures of her before she went under the knife.  I bet she looked nicer.  Her sister is still natural and even though not as "hot", she's much more attractive.*edit* It doesn't look like they did a bad job on the implants either.  I had to be told they weren't real.

Well, for me, it would be a bad idea if the operation killed any sensation on her breasts. Fake or real boobs does not matter to me as long as she can FEEL them.If not, then she might as well just pop em off and hang them from the mantle and put them on display because that is all it would be good for.

I was tempted to tell her to sue her plastic surgeon.   As a bit of corrrrrection... "Zipper scars" are only seen really on breast reductions and lifts. It's gotten to the point where a VERY small incision site is either through the nipple, through the armpit, or through the bellybutton.  The "crease" method, where the implant is shoved into a large incision on the underside of the breast, really isn't done anymore. It's evident that Tara Reid got a really bad boob job, and perhaps a lift.  I also think Stephanie McMahon had bad work done.  It's all about doing research, and what doctor fits your needs.

How old is she?  Wouldn't do it until after 25ish.  I was a 32A until i was 23.  I'm 25 (ohh, almost 26) and i'm a 32D now.  Late puberty can ruin a good implant job.  And she should know, once you have implants, there is no reversing it WITHOUT reprocussions.  If she does go for it, make sure it's a dr. that is highly reccommended, don't shop for price.  A few GF's have had to go back for extra surgeries at their own cost, to have lopsided implants fixed, and fixed again.   Good luck and happy knockers!
