<p>a messsage from Jim Norton - I hope this isnt a duplicate post</p><p><table border="0"><tr><td><font size="2">THE CANCELLATION OF LUCKY LOUIE</font></td></tr><tr>Body:<td class="blacktextnb10"><font size="2">Many of you know already about HBO's decision not to give us a second season. I kind of sensed they wouldn't once the critics made it known they hated us. I am not saying we were a perfect show but I do think we gave people enough laughs to earn another season. It wasn't about viewers, HBO never obsesses over ratings. I do think yanking this show was a shitty decision. People ask me what they can do, I honestly don't know. Someone started a Myspace petitition at myspace.com/saveluckylouie. It's not completely crazy that enough people calling them and writing them could have an impact. If not, thanks to all of you for supporting the show, it really meant and means a lot to me. I'ver never had such a cross section of people enjoy something I was involved with. I love that you write to me with support, but for this one, feel free to join the saveluckylouie page and either write or call HBO. They're a big company but they aren't deaf. Thanks to all of you, jim</font></td></tr></table></p>
