<p>they just said on NBC he had his spleen taken out and had a blood transfusion but should be okay<br /></p><p>edit: also said Tampa will sign a QB this week. </p>

yea its real...they are not sure though if it ruptured before or during the game though, because they said before the game he had a temp and was dehydrated<br />

<p>good thing for the bucs and not so good for chris is after last seasons run to the playoffs, </p><p>they negotiated in the off season for a new deal and the bucs wanted to see him do it more then just those handful of games last year and were only willing to give him a one year deal, instead of over reacting a signing him long term</p><p>now he'll probablyh never see the field again in a bucs uniform, especially if gradkowski plays well this year, and from all the sportswriters down here in tampa bay, they're saying that gradkowski is better suited for grudens west coast style offense then chris simms </p>
