<p>First of all it's Great America, not Great Adventure. As for Great Adventure, there's no need to eat a cockroach. There's nothing stopping people from line jumping at will. Especially if you are an inner-city youth. The rent-a-cops will look the other way every time.</p>

I did eat a roach once on a dare and for $50. It wasn't that big, just the little ones you find in a restaurant.
I put it on a bun with ketchup (i was working at mcdonald's at the time).
it was the grossest thing i ever did.
