You must set the ad_network_ads.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

<p>I know that are a few people on the board that have experience with money and the management thereof....Until a few years ago, my wife took care of all of the money matters in the house...I would hand over my paycheck and...voila....everything was taken care of ....</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>After her death, I had to resume the rsponsiblilty of money management....I suck at it..</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Does anyone have any advice on investments and/or ither ways to take care of my and my kids money???</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Any advice would be appreciated!!!! &nbsp; Thanks!!!&nbsp;</p>

<p>The older you get, the more conservative you should be with your money. No tech stocks or penny stocks. But if you must gamble, do it with money you wont miss. Given you always joke about how old you are, I'll say you should probably be mostly in bonds at this point. They dont have to be all federal, it can be a mix of Corporates, REITS, State and City. The rest can be some Blue Chip stocks (Fortune 500 companies). <br /> </p><p>But even this is probably more than you sound like you'd want to or be able to do. Hire a professional or set up an account with a large, reputable investment firm or money market fund. But watch the fees, and dont let some shmuck on a commisssion sell you something you dont need.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>
