I plan on getting a tattoo next week on my leg. I was wondering what most people pay for theirs (I'm told it varies). I'm probably gonna get something the size of a soda can.

That size with color will probably run you 200-250.  Just black...around 150.  Alot depends on where you go and the reputation of the artist you go to.  Also depends on the complexity of the tat.

that tat was from a Rock t-shirt.  on it, the bull is wearing the world title.  on my tat i didnt want the world title but i didnt know how to "finish" it off.  plus, it is covering up another tattoo, so i went with what would work.  both of those tats took an hour each.

Depends on size, location(both where you put it and where you go to get it) and if you are or aren't getting it in color.I have 3 that ranged from $60 to $130 and the smaller one was the most expensive of the trio costing $70 more.  I would advise against color too, you're going to end up paying more money when the colors fade and they always do.

I have always wanted a tattoo.  I want to get a black rose with a K on the petal on my lower back, left side.  I just never saved the money to do it.  I was pierced in high school, but I got in a car accident and it was all removed.  (Nose, navel, and 11 total in the ears)  Just never put it back in...

ive got 4, a clown on my leg was free 6 years ago, and the three on my arm are vampire the masquerade related. the camarilla ankh, was 125, an ourobouros (spelling?) from the rites of the dragon book was 180. my newest one done 2 weeks ago @ fatcat tattoo in astoria Ny was 325. its the cover of the rites of the dragon book, but also the Ordo Dracul Covenant crest.  heres a pic too. ^_^ first one in color i love it. <img width="170" height="227" border="0" src="http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i186/alucardydh666/newtattoo.jpg" />

What I never understood was the idea of seeing
another persons tattoo and saying you want to get it too.  All
mine are original, and not too long ago I saw someone  with the
same tattoo that is on my arm , on his leg.  I asked where he got
it from and it was the same artist.  That drove me fucking
nuts.    Someone stole my art.  Now I have the same
ink as some other loser on the planet.  I
just brought my sister-in-law for her first tat, and she wanted
something off the wall.  I took her back home and told her to come
up with something original, that would mean something to her in more
than 8 months.    But to each their own.  I have a
Dragon circling a lightning bolt on my arm, a Daredevil  drawn by
Dave Mazzuchelli ( sorry for the spelling.  I'm Irish) on my lag
and the wife's initials on the ol' pelvic region.

all i got is a hatchetman(ICP logo) on my arm it about the size of my hand and all it is, is thick black outline and it cost me 90 bucks.... i plan on filling it in one day but i cant think of what to fill it in with

Since about 1987 I haven't understood people getting tattoos of skulls, unicorns, zombies with spiked mullets, or other Molly Hatchet album cover-like artwork. I think if I had gotten the Scorpions Blackout tat that I wanted in high school I'd probably be pissed about it now. My sister got some really bad quality drawings back then and I just cringe when I see them. I suspect she does too. If I did get a tat it would be something like a quote from Thomas Jefferson or Mark Twain. You know, something meaningful, that you probably wouldn't outgrow. Or I'd get a picture of Jimmy Walker or Lenny and Squiggy - something that says "I don't give a shit. It's funny."Does anyone have any tattoos they regret?

i work in a pharmacy and deal mostly with workmans comp cases. man oh man, all these people come in with more and more ink. there's like 5 or 6 different guys who have yankee tattoos VERY visable on their necks.. ahha dummies.
