I am NOT happy.

Grossman's implosion (again) is one thing...what I'm FAR more concerned about is how goddamn ineffective the passing defense has been for a MONTH now. A fucking month. This team, as they've been playing for the last 4 weeks, will not, NOT, not-not-not-not-not win shit in the playoffs. Nothing. Short of them masterfully hiding their "real" defense before the playoffs against the scrubs teams, there is zero excuse for the shit they're letting teams get away with.

MOTHERFUCK.

I can't stop laughing when Madden says Brett Favre" I just hear Frank Caliendo doing his impersonation of Madden.

This Brett Favre stroking has gone on for so many years that it doesn't even piss me off anymore.

I'm actually rooting for the guy now.

Everyone pretend to be surprised when he comes back next year.

BOO THIS TEAM!!!! BOO THEM UNTIL THEY CRY!!! AND THEN BOO THEM SOME MORE!!!

You mutts go and think over the next two weeks...you go and you ponder real fucking hard about how you're going to pull a fucking playoff win out of your motherfucking asses.

They need to get this "we can cruise" bullshit out of their heads...they haven't looked dominant, not even close, since the 2nd half of that game against the Giants...ALMOST 2 FUCKING MONTHS AGO.

Man, I am so fucking pissed with the Bears. The season starts out with the champion. When the champ loses the team that beats them is the champ. Then when they lose the next team is the champ and so on. It started this year with the Steelers then they lost to the Jaguars. The Jaguars lost to Indianapolis. Indianapolis lost to Dallas. Dallas lost to New Orleans. New Orleans lost to Washington. Washington lost to the Rams. The Rams won their last game and end the year as the TV champs.

Could be. Should be IMHO. I've had doubts about Art Shell since he referred to his players as "the inmates" early in the season. I also think Romeo deserves another chance, but the Browns fan base is pissed. Or maybe they've become accustomed to burning through head coaches.

On the warm seat - Jon Gruden. Not that he deserves it, but if you only win four games in this year's NFC...

Thanks for covering me on that point Ed! And you have to be nuts to think Parcells didn't pass anything on to Bel! He was his fucking mentor and even Bel admits he helped him a ton. Still, how can you possibly state that Parcells isn't at the least a good coach. There are a ton of teams always up for paying him to come bring their teams to the playoffs and at least get the teams in the limelight again. He always makes it happen too. Your arguement is stupid bc they are both good coaches, just Bel has joined the ranks of great coaches but you don't think Brady at the helm the whole time didn't help him? Your logic is just severely flawed and it's not even a question.

I don't think Coughlin is as bad as people are saying. Just because some drunk fans are chanting his name, the most visible Giant figure, doesn't mean he is the problem. I can only think of 1 or 2 bad play calls this year. Coughlin came in here and took control immediately. Eli is the one not settling in well in the NY spotlight and he doesn't run the offense perfectly. Giants had some key injuries this year yet they're still in the playoffs. The REAL season starts this weekend so Eli has a chance to make some plays for 'Ol Man Coughlin. Eli is the one the pressure should be on, not the 'Ol Man.

The reason people are pointing fingers at Coughlin is because he is supposed to be a strict disciplinarian yet his team has been playing sloppy and even quitting at times. If this had been only one or two games you could say he lit some guys asses on fire. But, the Giants limped to the finish this year and really needed help getting into the playoffs. No, it is not his fault; the players are the ones on the field. Coughlin did fail to maintain order when things got tough, and thats why I think he has to go.

Look spoon, Once again your on you high anti New York horse and it clouds your judgment. Has Parecells been decent with his teams YES..... Has he his job NO. I agree he did a good job for the Jets.... But he did not do ALL of his job. When you have Bills rep and pay scale. Teams get you for 1 thing..... WIN A SUPER BOWL. and he never did it for the Jets. And to this point has not done, and does not seem able to do it with Dallas either. When Jerry Jones went after Bill, he said i am bringing him here to WIN A SUPER BOWL.... NOT make the playoffs not go one and done, BUT WIN A SUPERBOWL. So before you make silly biased anti NY driven comments, look at the rest of the picture and arguments. His name is synonymous with winning Super Bowls. And he has not done that for 16 years now. You say this and you say that and believe yourself to be all smart, but your limited in your judgment. Its just how it is... Bill Parcells gets brought to a team to do one thing, and THATS WIN A SUPERBOWL... So NO.... Since Bill has left him.... HE HAS NOT DONE JACK SHIT!

kevin how can u argue that bill parcells hasnt doen jack shit without belichik? belichik is the reason why the cleveland browns became the raiders. i could argue that belichik isnt shit without brady. belichik is the best xs and os coach in football, im not gonna argue with that. bill parcells is the best coach in the game whne u incorporate all aspects of coaching, hes great with the media, hes get his players to play, and he does it with authority. belichik is successful with only one franchise, parcels has been successful wherever he has gone. he makes bad teams better, and thats always the hardest job in sports.

my perfect example of why i love parcells: i think it was romos second game as the starter, and it was close to the half and the boys have the ball in the redzone. romo checks off the play bill wants, and calls a fake spike, he throws the ball to the reciever in the flat and the db drops an interception that he oculdve easily taken back for six. the cowboys end up winning the game. int he post game when every single reporter is sucking romos dick, parcells says if that DB didnt drop the interception and taken it the other way like he should have you guys wouldnt be loving tony like u guys are doing right now. now lets look at how belichik handled a qb changing his plays in good old bernie kosar. bernie kosar changed a belichik play in the huddle and wants to go deep in a game cuz one of the corners were injured and couldnt keep up with the wr. kosar goes deep scores a td. belichiks response: cutting him. parcells is willing to help players get better and play them through their mistakes, belichik wants yes men.

Any player with a ring, who was a dominant player on that superbowl team should automatically get in. That would include Irvin, Dent, Guy, Grimm and Monk. Maybe Dean.

Thurman Thomas was a great player and should have won a superbowl. He is a fumble and a TD short of getting in.

Tagliabue should have to wait a few years unless commisioners automatically get in...

I can't wait for today's Chargers-Patriots game. I think it's the marquee game of the postseason. The only interest I have in the Bears-Seahawks is whether Grossman gets pulled or not.

I agree with you Gvac. I kinda feel like I havent seen a really good team yet in the playoffs. There have been good games but Im looking for a team that I really think can win this whole thing. I feel like the Pats or San Diego can be that.

Yeah. Jay Glazer broke that story on the pregame. He also said Cower didn't endorse Wisenhunt or Grimm. Chan Gailey might be the next Stiller's coach.

Did you just quote yourself?

I thought Alexander got a bad spot on 3rd anyway. Plus that play should have a been a loss, and he bulled his way to within inches of a first, you have to figure he's going to get the inch on 4th down.

Bears are really missing Tommy Harris right now...
