Not yet but I'll catch one of the 50 replays I'm sure. How was it overall?

Andy Dick licked a lot of people. Including Farrah Fawcett, so she wound up looking a little less retarded. Lots of fat jokes. Some bad actor jokes.

Betty White was there. Told some jokes. I think she's on Boston Legal with Shatner.

Really not worth your time.

Damn that sucks to hear. Usually these things are a riot but I guess they didn't have the right comics huh? The Leary and Anderson roasts were pretty funny.

Those are usually great, but this year pretty much sucked. Greg Giraldo was great, Jeff Ross, Artie Lange, and Lisa Lamponeli were all good. If you're flipping around and anyone else is on then don't bother. This is also the first time I've seen a roast where the roasters were so bad that they actually edited their time to like thirty seconds with their name scrolled across the bottom (eg Fred Willard and the black chick from Star Trek).

I thought Shatner might have been the funniest speaker. His line about sitting there and looking around and wondering, "who the hell are you people?" was funny and well delivered. Andy Dick just was not funny. Artie was not funny. Jason Alexander is the furthest thing from funny. And Gregg Giraldo just annoys the hell out of me. Jeff Ross and Lisa Lampanelli were pretty damn good though. Id still bang Farrah Fawcett.

couple of funny lines, not great altogether.

jason alexander said the stage was a veritable "who's that" of comedy

artie had a drink in his hand the whole time, like he's known as a "drinking" guy so he's always got to have a cup in his hand. like he's the new dino or something..

Everyone was OK. There were no standout speaches. If anyone's speach should've been cut, it should've been Farrah Fawcett. Hers was an abortion, much like Farrah Fawcett.

Shatner's speach was pretty good. I thought most of the comedians did a good job. Andy Dick Sucked. There's a reason why the best work he can get is Jessica Simpson's new music video. George Takei had a very funny speach and didn't seem to hold anything back. He's easy to laugh at, with those asian eyes, deep voice and warm hearted laugh.

Thankfully everyone seemed to be a good sport

I dug most of it - Betty White fucking killed, and was the only one who didn't have notes prompting her. Artie Lang always amuses me - Jeff Ross and Lisa Lampanelli were also great, and I loved Patton Oswald, who tore up the State Theatre the night before. Shatner himself was pretty funny - I'm sure the only reason they even did this was so they could find an excuse to run the old clips of him singing.

I enjoyed a majority of it. It was the first time I laughed at Lisa Lampanelli. Who know Betty White could be funny. Farrah Fawcet was a trainwreck. And why didn't she fix her bra strap??? That annoyed me the whole time.

Can anyone remind me why Andy Dick is famous?

I finally saw this thing. It seemed as if they were roasting George Takei as much as Shatner.

I thought most of the roasters were pretty good. Betty White was surprisingly funny. To hear Rose Nylund say "cock ring" was surreal.

DreamWeaver wrote:

Can anyone remind me why Andy Dick is famous?
Human train wreck.
