tooth caps: hurt or not too bad

i just got a root canal and that hurt real bad, now i have to get a cap does that hurt real bad too?

i broke a tooth once and capping it requires grinding it down so yes!!!

Capping is really not a big deal.

The root canal on the other hand is awful.
