marvel's good idea?

i'm sure you've heard by now but marvel is planning to have all it's superheros deal with the world trade disaster i personally think the only thing wrong with this is that kids read this and that they have to deal with this everywhere why deal with it again in the comics? but anyway i'd appreciate all views on this

I have not heard about this, why would they do that, not to sound like a deek but if the superheros were here Sept.11 would not have taken place. Will they bring up our our national heros in the comics

I could be wrong but the way I understood it, they were pointing to the firemen and police as being the superheros. But I haven't seen the issue yet, so I might not know what I'm talking about.

I believe it's a special comic issue titled "Heroes". Basically, the Superheroes are there in the aftermath of the attacks. It's not really a story, more just a book filled with pinups / one page art that depicts the heroes dealing with the tragedy. Some are standing by watching the true heroes (firemen/cops/and yes, even the EMT workers) do their work, some pics show them helping to clear the rubble, and one, somewhat controversial pic, depicts the passengers of the Philly plane rising up to take down the hijackers.

I think some or all of the proceeds go towards the relief funds. If so, I'll probably buy a copy.

the book se7en is describing came out last week. There is a second book coming telling the true stories of some people that were there on the 11th.
