Talking about stuff from when we were kids in chat... what did you always have with you as a kid? A blanket? A stuffed animal?

Mine was a baby Kermit the Frog in pajamas. I brought that thing EVERYWHERE with me and would cry if "Kermie" wasn't with me for long trips. I know its somewhere in my house and I really should find it...

My dad gave me a pocket knife when I was like 5. I carried one ever since. I also had an orange dog stuffed animal, that I appropriately and creatively called orange doggie.

i always walked around with my Big Bird. I actually wore out his feet, and my mom had to patch them up, when i flipped out after she bought me a new big bird.

I used to love cap guns when i was a little kids. with the red paper and black dots that when you shot always smelled like a small fire. I didnt have to brong it with me everywhere, but whenever we went to the store and they had them there I would beg my dad or mom to get me one.

I wonder if they still sell them. I want one to bring back old times. I also remember they had ones that were in plastic too.

PapaBear

The plastic caps were the best. They were louder and the guns were more realistic.

I tied a string to a plastic frog and carried it around for almost a year. I had it taken away for attacking people with it at school.

I had a Snoopy stuffed animal that I would bring everywhere, poor thing turned grey and eventually met his end after getting torn apart by my dog. :(

The latest and coolest toy weaponry available. Once had this toy secret agent briefcase that had a gun inside which shot plastic bullets through a hole in the side when a button was pressed. Cool as shit.

And as someone mentioned earlier...The guns which shot plastic blanks were way better than the cap pistols. Always preferred the military versions as opposed to the cowboy stuff. Not knocking the cowboy stuff. But even growing up in Texas, even as a kid, the cowboy "act" seemed silly.

I had a little plastic dagger that I wouldn't leave the house without. It was always sticking out of my back pocket.
