I also love the way nouns, like Photoshop and Google have become verbs. And Xerox and fax.

Just to tell folks about it.  There is this wonderful Program Called Gimp that is just like photoshop but it open source so you don't have to pay for it.  It works pretty well.

But Jon it is a Cost Benefit Analysis.  Let's look at the Deal....Gimp = $0 Free and has many of the tools that Photoshop has in order to do photoediting.  It may not do all of the Advanced Stuff but most of what people need is there.  Photoshop Cost $1000 roughly, or you can use one of adobe's other products like Photo Album or the like which cost Under $100 but I prefer Free.
