Has anyone else been getting all the great deals on movies at Best Buy of late?

I don't know if they're in trouble financially or what, but they've been selling good movies really cheap of late. I got The Constant Gardener $3.99, Mr and Mrs Smith $6.99 last week. This week I've gotten several volums of SNL dvds for $3.99 each. They also have Resevoir Dogs for $3.99 and many others.

I got Fast Times at Ridgemont High for $3.99.

My friend go Ferris Bueller and Clue, as well as some others.

He referred to them as "movies he wanted to own, but didn't want to pay too much for"

I disagreed about the Ferris.

I picked up "House Of Flying Daggers" for $6.99 last week.

It pissed me off that I saw the 25th anniversary edition of "The Blues Brothers" for $3.99 when I bought it for $19.99 a couple of months ago.

I was just at my local Best Buy to pick up some speaker cables and I decided to check out the $3.99 DVD collection. Unfortunately, there was nothing worth having, maybe they sold out of all the good stuff already.

One observation I made which left me baffled was who comes up with the pricing for these movies. Just one example that I can remember:

The Godfather: $14.99

Deuce Bigellow: $22.99
