Inspired by the other bar thread....What's your favorite gay bar name? You know what I'm talking about...the names that just scream out "This is a gay establishment."

DC as far as I know doesn't have any exciting gay bar names, but Buffalo has a few fun ones: Fugazi, The Cathode Ray, and perhaps of most interest here - Buddies. Buddies is where they host the local bear club and leather club nights, which is part of the reason I find Ron and Fez's use of the word so appropriate, and hilarious.

I used to live in Stuttgart, Germany and there was a place called "Sissy Bar". I can only assume it catered to the gheys. No homo.

Back in Detroit on seven mile road they had a gay club called the Man Hole. It was in a ghetto and must have gotten robbed on a regular basis.

THIS GUY wants to "take you to a gay bar... gay bar".

Don't worry... it's safe to download, but don't let anyone catch you watching or listening to it. Video by Badmonkey... song remix by "various", starring... Beniccio/Carolla/Chunks.

I know this isn't exactly the same thing, but I just thought of it.

There used to be this Goth bar in Buffalo called Sanctuary where, for an extra amount of money, you could give yellow discipline to this midget they had chained to the wall.

I know this isn't going to do much for the argument of "all franternities are just full of gays" that you tend to here from non-greeks, but when I was pledging at Seton Hall one of the upper classmen brothers was gay. As a pledge prank, we were told to get dressed up to go out to a nightclub. We parked in a public lot two blocks away from the establishment & approached the bar from the side where you couldn't see the sign in front that read "Feathers."

When we got to the door, we noticed the brothers doing a lot of laughing to themselves, and even though the doorman was a musclehead in a tight shirt, it didn't quite sink in yet. When we got to the bar & ordered drinks, the bartender was unmistakably...uh...ghey. And soon even the slowest of the pledges realized we weren't in Kansas anymore.

That was the longest hour of our lives, but the worst part was that when the regulars caught on to the fact that we weren't there by choice, we started getting the dirtiest looks. Lots of "oh, he's one of them" attitudes were thrown around. We were outcasts & we being treated a such.

Funniest part...a buddy from upstate NY saw & made eye contact with his high school history teacher whom he ha no idea was gay.
