A heatwave is plaguing the most of the country. It's heinous in the North east (esp. NYC. Con Ed can't seem to get it together!). How do you stay cool?

I drink lots of water, iced tea, lemonade. I spend most of my time in the AC. No ice cream, but ice pops made of juice.

I spent 30 minutes in my tub tonight. I WISH I had access to a pool!

I can't help but be cool. I was born that way.

Actually, the heat is causing an odd problem. I have my AC cranked up nice and high in my car, while delivering pizza. The problem is, it's so humid that, every time I step out of the car to go to a house, my ice cold eyeglasses fog up. I can't even see where I'm going. I need tiny windshield wipers for my glasses.

I'm going to have to try that stuff, Fallon. Thanks!

Funkman and AFB... I wouldn't skinny dip even when I was skinny. It just sounded much better than the shared body heat of a group hug. Hugs are nice, though. You can both have one from me whenever needed, just as long as Funkman can keep his hands off my ass.

I think cool thoughts while staring at refreshing videos of female mods in the bathtub.

Budgetary note for beginners: The initial investment of small video cameras and related equipment may seem prohibitive, but when averaged out over the year is less expensive than paying for increased AC. Plus there is the money earned from the webshows.

Alternative website idea: Male mod in the Hottub videos.

I feel really bad for Liz... her car is "basic transportation", and she's driving it into the ground until it falls apart.

Sadly, she's got about an hour commute each way, and like Roger, she has no A/C. There was a leak in the system and it's apparently 700 dollars to repair, which is 7/10ths of what the car is worth.

She was soaking wet in sweat when she got home last night.
