A good program to use is Nero Burning Rom

Also what format are your movies in? AVI, MPEG, MOV? sometimes that can also determin how you convert the file to DVD format, which can take a couple hours to do.

TMPgenc is another good program, but i think you have to buy it, or maybe sameway you got your movies (wink wink..nudge nudge). If you have more questions just ask. also, i encode movies and VCD is another format your DVD player will play (usually) and you may want to try that. An mpeg file will usually quickly encode to vcd format.

emPulse

Click on NERO SMart STart Icon

Click on the Drop Down Box, and select DVD

Click on Photo and Video then select Make your own DVD Video

You should be able to follow the directions the rest of the way, it has an Ok wizard to guide you throught selecting files.

let me know if this works for you.

Usually simply inserting a blank disk while Nero is open will promt the program to ask you what you are trying to do. You want to select the option that asks you where the file is you want to burn. It is usually pretty simple. Have you tried any of these steps?

If I'm not mistaken... Go to My Computer. Click on Documents and Settings. Depending on how your computer is set up, I think it will be somewhere in there. It's been a long time since I've used Limewire, but I think that's the default location for it's downloaded files. If that doesn't work, try to remember the name of the file, and look for it using your Search function, from the Start button. If all that fails, try kicking the tires.

Not really sure how it affects the downloader but i know they went after people downloading from Napster years ago...
