This is still funny after all these years. The writing is terrific, and the timing of Abbott and Costello is amazing! If its been posted already I'm sorry:

http://gorillamask.net/whosonfirst.shtml

what a great bit. Ronnie always says that timing is everything. this proves the point.

Abbot and Costello are my favorite. Every comedy team since pales in comparasion. Better than those silents Laurel and Hardy as well!

i never liked Laurel and Hardy. Every A&C movie was great. they were the greatest comedy duo and i can only think of one other team that comes close.

I always liked Laurel and Hardy as well as Abbott and Costello. L&H were so deep into the old time cinema though, that you really have to like that depression-era humor. The Marx Bros. (my favorite team), and the original Stooges are like that also. Abbott and Costello were more a contemporary of Martin and Lewis. And you can say whatever you want about Jerry Lewis, he was a very funny comedian, especially in the early days.

thanks for posting that. hadnt seen that since i was a kid. Channel 4 used to show their movies before cartoons on sat mornings. but a few years ago i saw my first full marx bros movie. gotta admit i much prefer them now. the musical stuff and dodgy romance plots are mostly shite. but pretty much anything with groucho, chico or harpo is still brilliant.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwyaTwPuMY4

anybody seen a clip of oliver hardy doing the falsetto singing about?
