Who should win the World Series

<p>Ok with allot of teams fighting for the playoffs who whould you like to see win the World Series if your favorite team doesnt? Also who is your favorite team?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Favorite Teams: Yankees</p><p>If not the yanks I would like to see Detroit or the Mets this year</p>

<p>Unless it's the Cardinals, I always root for the NL team by default...which got me thinking what would have happened if it had been the dreaded White Sox/Cardinals Series last year.&nbsp; I think my sould would have just imploded.</p><p>That said, outside of the Mets or some team getting insaley hot the last few weeks of the year, I don't see the NL standing a chance, so since the AL winning is almost certainly a gimme, I want to see the Tigers take it all.&nbsp; And while I don't really hate either team, I'd be curious to see the Red Sox and/or Yankees not make the playoffs, just for some variety.</p>
