I've been a talk radio fan for about 10 years. Regan, Imus, Don and Mike, Stern, Opie and Anthony, Carr, the whole gamut. I have yet to find a duo that has the smarts, humor, and light viciousness that almost everyone can enjoy like Ron and Fez. I know I'm a gushing tool, but these guys just make me so happy. I work thru the day listening to these clowns and it makes my day go so fast. I have infected so many people in my office with Ron and Fez. Even their worst show is better than anything else I have listened to. What is your greatest Ron ande Fez moment?:

Mine: Either the Abortion Ship (WNEW), or on the XM side, Fez explaining his trip to Memphis with Elfish. Both Ron and Fez are hilarious in that 40 minute section of Radio Gold.

Lenay D was goddamn funny too. Ron is not only a super comic, he's incredibly intelligent. Good comics are always smart, and Ron does not miss that mark. Fez.....well Fez is as smart as they come, and plays his part better than anyone in radio....front-man and back-man at the same time.....a total pro, and goddamn hilarious.

Thanks Ron and Fez. So much hilarity, so much!

Canada Chris / Mr. Smokepants.

Fan for life

The reaction from Ron and Fez when Al Dukes pissed himself -

So many great Al Dukes situations. Al Dukes was a former producer on the WNEW show. The gay Randy kiss comes to mind as another classic moment.

I really dug over heated / cranky Ron from last week.

Anytime Fez is hypnotized its going to be an instant classic.

John Mayer catching the boys off gaurd was killer.

Sadly, the 9-11 show and shows that week really stand out as moments that listeners just won't forget.

The .comando days had some killer moments also.

Their consistancy is just mind blowing. For all they have been through ,year after year ,they still just come in and knock it out of the park day in and day out.

What I find refreshing about their show is they never get into radio wars. They never bitch about whatever they are going through off the air.

My favorite Ron & Fez moment was when I went into my kitchen, and Fez looked like Abe Lincoln... and Ron looked like a Beaver. They were sitting in front of a chess board, and wondering where I had been, lately.

Oh... wait... I have to stop leaving my TV on, when I go to sleep. It was still funny when RonBeaver called FezLincoln a cheater.

I got nutt'n.

My Favorite moment happened today! It was a "bit" reunion....

I was introduced to R&F on WNEW in NY when they started here. They had some computer name or something when they started. I listened until they went to DC.

I FINALLY heard a "comedy pyramid" for the first time today after all these years! I almost shed a tear! Truly my favorite moment to date.

I really missed the "pyramid" Its brilliant, although I am not, being that I didnt make the connection that the phones being shitty was preventing this beautiful bit from occurring.

Thanks for fixing those phones. Its just too bad it took so fucking long.

Remember when Ron refered to the Abortion ship as "What kind of ghost ship is that? The SS 1st Trimester."

I started listening when they came to XM. To me th funniest XM bits in order 3-1 are:

3. Ron describing to Fez what an acid trip is like. (Never tripped, or I might find it funnier)

2. How many 9 Year olds can you beat up. (Ron is so fucking violent, just GOLD)

1. Ron breaking down Fez's story about getting washed w/a hose after beach trip. (Fez was so good in this one)

Zathura kid and Linay D =)..

For two reasons, first it was funny as hell. Second, it's the show that turned my wife into a fan. Before that show, she thought they were OnAv.2 and after the show she wanted to buy an XM for her car.

Today was probably one of the best shows I have heard in a long time. Earl was getting ragged on the whole time and it seems like Ron forget about Dave for a while. Earl couldn't do a fucking thing right today and when he tries to get himself out of trouble he repeats himself 47 fucking times. Like when he was trying to talk to that stripper that day and Ron kept egging him on and he kept going back to his same line over and over. I can't believe the meltdown that Fez had about being 16 minutes late. Don't worry Fez. I don't like being late either but what can you do, huh? "When in Rome..." is all you can say.

My most memorable moment on the Ron & Fez show was definitely the bit they did when the Gamecocks were playing the Razorbacks. Coach Nut was making a quarter back change and bringing in the kid Dick. So, Kasey Dick was starting and he was replacing Johnson. They pulled out Johnson and Nut Put In Dick. Ron thought that the Gamecocks were going to have a big blowout. Also If Dick didn't start strong he should be pumped up enough to.... etc etc etc

This bit really lifted me out of a bad day at work that I was having. It actually made me laugh out loud a few times and I had to leave my workstation and take a break for a while.

My favorite old bit was when earlier on O&A Ant started mentioning Stern's name til they ran out of dump, Ron started spoofing Anthony by yelling "Eddie Trunk" and dropped the Van Halen. Classic, would love to hear that one again.

There's far too many unbelievably funny and unique moments for me to pick just one, however I'll never forget the time they did a news story on Andy Dick and Fez just cackled like a maniac every time Ron mentioned the name "Dick."

I'm sure it's in the file library somewhere but I lack the patience to go dig it up.

I got on board back in the WNEW days and Staples was at the center of 2 of my favorite moments.

1) Billys stand up appearance in Red Bank which sparked the nickname Big Orange Ball of Failure and an hillarious apology for his lack of funnyness. Plus the show where Billy is just driving aimlessly as far away from NY/NJ as he could because of his awful shame. That shit was hillarious.

2) Staples or "Billy Hyne" on Jon Edwards Crossing Over. Ron and Fez tore Billy to pieces for his appearance on that show. Hillarity ensued. Ironically they seemed more willing to "believe" when Jon Edwards was in studio this year. Unless EVERYTHING is a bit and therefore Im a complete rube.

One of my other faves was when I called in as Mickey Mouse back in the Wnew days at Halloween and mid call I backed into the accumulated empties from the party I was having, and just so got thrown off that all I could do was laugh like an asshat as the empties fell and tinkled all around me.

I have a couple of favorites from browsing the file library. Billy Staples and Lobster Claws was a fucking riot. Lenay D and Jonah Bobo was great, I did hear that one live. And just today I listened to Lenay and I think it was J Dubs or Brian talk about how insanely uncomfortable they got around kids and were afraid they would touch the kid or something, I was laughing out loud at work, no way I could explain what I was listening to.
Ron was on the phone and Norton was in studio (I'm pretty sure they were still at WNEW). Ron, Opie and Anthony were absolutely destroying Billy, but Norton was trying as hard as he could to defend him, knowing how hard it is to get out on stage and do stand-up. He was defending him with all his might but he eventually just had to give up and agree it was a disaster.

I love it all, but the one line that sticks with me most was from the WNEW days. Ron was talking about how he went looking for clues at the JonBenet Ramsey house (they talked about that again recently, I guess when the mother died). The conversation evolved into "could you live in a house where a murder had taken place" or something like that. Of course, Fez couldn't even think of that, and Ron had no problem with it.

Ron - "I'd move right into the Tate/LaBianca house and not think twice"

Fez - "With the chalk lines still on the floor......"

Ron - "Well I'd put a couch over it, I have class!"

Fucking hilarious. Wish I could find that.
