Need suggestion for nice digital camera as a gift.

<div>I'm looking for a nice digital camera that won't break the bank but would be nice as a birthday gift. I have no idea on pixels or anything..but I want to get my girl a digital camera that's easy to use, takes good pictures, battery last, wont be obsolete in a week. <br /><br />I remember seeing one that hooked up to your computer to email pics but also had it's own little color printer that it would hook up to so you could print pictures..that might be nice. <br /><br />Sorry i'm stupid but I've never even thought of buying / owning a digital camera in my life and hoping you guys can help me out on which brand / model to buy or which brand / model not to buy...<br /><br />any links or experiences would be helpful...I'm looking to spend anywhere from $100 to $250...but probably more in the $100-$160 range I think..but I have no idea how much they cost. She's no photographer but wants to take pictures of us at the beach, doing tourist things, etc. <br /><br />thanks buddays.</div>

A great buy.</p><p>Not just because I work for them.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>P.S...There are no good cameras to take to the beach. Sand is bad.&nbsp;</p><p> </p><p> </p>
