Beautiful Mt. Airy Lodge

<p><a href="http://www.uer.ca/~bratchny/poconos/">http://www.uer.ca/~bratchny/poconos/</a></p><p>Chances are if you live in the east coast, you've heard of it.&nbsp; I stumbled upon this site about the now de-funct Mt. Airy Lodge in the Poconos.&nbsp; I found it to be very creepy and interesting.&nbsp; Some pictures could be right out of the S<em>hining.&nbsp;</em>&nbsp; </p><p><a href="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/editmessage.cfm/Forum/73/Topic/51076/Message/132762.html"><img height="252" src="http://www.uer.ca/locations/galpics/norm/132767.jpg" width="393" border="0" /></a></p>

i went up there to play golf 2 years ago.&nbsp; very spooky.&nbsp; the chruch and the main house are the scariest my far.&nbsp; the main house still had a water pipe running that had burst.&nbsp; the runnign water sounded like people moving around making noise.&nbsp; what a shame too it was such a nice place too.

<p>I went to school in Northeastern PA and we'd have dances or formals or whatever they called it and yes, they would be at Mt. Airy Lodge.&nbsp; I went there four years in a row.&nbsp; Cheesy art deco rooms right out of 1955.&nbsp; Some rooms&nbsp;had private pools which was very cool.&nbsp; </p><p>The best part about the place was the shooting range.&nbsp; I spent most of my money there.&nbsp; They had almost every gun you could think of... although not as cool as Yerdaddy's recent pictures, it was still a great way to spend an afternoon.</p>

Airy Lodge (God, what a mistake that was), we found this shooting range as well. Without a doubt the best part of the trip. Love firing the AK-47. </p>

I WENT there when I was like 19 and stayed in that horribly cheesy room with the champagne glass tub, and swimming pool, massage table, sauna dealie.&nbsp; That was gross too... the walls were covered in purple velvet</p>
