I spent the last 2 weeks in Germany....mostly on business. I had a great time and got to visit some in-laws I haven't scene since the funeral. I traveled from Berlin to Frankfurt to Nurnberg and all points in between. The people were great and I got alot done.

But....and there's always a but....I am so glad to be back home in the USA!!!! We don't often realize what we have until we step away from it for a little while and experience other things...which may be good but not as great as what has been given to us on a silver platter. No matter what your politics or world view...there is no place like home!!!!!!

This trip made me appreciate what I have that much more!!!!!!

If you had gone all hippy "Europe is great, man!" on us, I would have had to turn on you.
