Ok, so I met this nice girl the other night (NICE GIRL NICE FAMILY!!!)

Anyway, I gave her my card and she e-mailed me today. So I was about to e-mail her back and I started thinking wait a minute... if I got her phone number, I would wait like a day or two.

So my question ladies is this, is e-mail the same as the telephone, should you wait a couple days to e-mail????

Different medium... I believe people expect to recieve a responce quicker. I say reply when you feel up to it. To me it's not the same as a phone number. Good Luck!

I never got that waiting rule you guys have when it comes to calling girls. Life is too short for waiting games.
Anyway, definitely email her back, if she didn't want to hear from you, she wouldn't have emailed you in the first place.

I have to agree that the waiting rule that some guys made up is complete BS. I mean why wait or play those stupid games if you are actually interested in her. However if you wanted to follow the 'rules' I don't think it applies to email, in this technological life we live in everything is done at a quicker rate.
One thing I don't get though is why she emailed you TomPoo, instead of just calling...seems a bit impersonal if you ask me...but hey i'm just an old fashion kind of gal ;)

After years of hearing my female friends bitch that guys who call them right away seem too "eager," you pick up that maybe you should wait.
