<p>This is really cool-</p><p>go to your start button, then run, then type cmd</p><p>at the prompt in the black box type:</p><p>telnet ascii-wm.net 2006</p><p>make the box as big as possible- it should only expand vertically though... </p>

Wickedly cool hack really. Nifty. The ASCII art for the long shots of the field stink really, but it is quite cool when they zoom in on an individual player. Thanks for sharing this thing.</p><p>BTW, here's a link to a <a href="http://slashdot.org/articles/01/01/26/1617217.shtml" target="_blank">slashdot article</a> about someone doing this with a live cam.... probably some sort of derivation of that. There are a bunch of articles though, check <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=ascii+video+%2Bsite%3Aslashdot.org" target="_self">Google</a>.</p>

<p>try copying and pasting the command from the first post in the box- i just did that and it worked. </p><p>And yep Pleth... it is a little lame when there isn't a player- can't tell whats going on, but when there is its sick.</p>
