What movie scene just makes you turn your head? I'm curious to know what others out there think.

I'm
as calloused as the next guy but I have trouble watching the end of
Casino when Pesci gets it. That scene is pretty f-ing brutal.
Just stop already!

I could probably think of something better, but this is the first thing that popped into my head.

When the cute blonde gets pulled apart by Rutger Huer in a semi in The Hitcher. That's the first movie I ever saw where Hollywood strayed from the "boy gets girl" happy ending, and opted for "boy watches as girl ripped apart". That shocked the Hell out of me.

For years it was the two little dead girls in The Shining - just their image alone would freak me out. Even though I would see much much worse stuff in movies over the years that scene would always freak me out. Though at some point a few years ago I got over it. In X-men when Storm says "What happens to a toad when its struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else". That always gives me the douche chills, its just awful.

But more in line with the actual topic, in Saving Private Ryan when the Nazi soldier slowly slides the knife into Pvt. Stanley Mellish's chest.
