Casino when Pesci gets it.&nbsp; That scene is pretty f-ing brutal.

Even though I would see much much worse stuff in movies over the years that scene would always freak me out. Though at some point a few years ago I got over it. <p>Movie violence usually rolls right off of my back, but for some reason seeing people getting their throats cut open skeevs me out.&nbsp; It seems like such an awful way to die...</p><p>The time that happened and it caught me most by surprise was in that piece of Shit Meg Ryan/Russell Crowe movie,&nbsp; <em>Proof of Life</em>.&nbsp; Crowe grabs some guy from behind and just absolutely butchers his neck with a military knife...like slices it open and the&nbsp; stabs him THROUGH the neck and twists it to be sure.&nbsp; Obviously, you're seeing every bloody detail, but something about it really bothered me.&nbsp; I was slipping into a coma of boredom at that point, so maybe that's why it stood out so much, but if for some insane reason I was watching that flick again, I'd have to leave the room at that point.</p><p>Beyond that, violence doesn't make me cringe so much as watching sex scenes with other people...ANYONE.&nbsp; Parents, friends, girlfriend, whatever.&nbsp; Movie sex is always, without fail, the goofiest looking shit you'll ever see.&nbsp; The response varies with whoever you're watching it with, but 9 times out of 10, it kills the movie.&nbsp; Everything is ridiculous from that point on, and I might be actually worried we're gonna see more people fuck and it'll just get even worse.&nbsp; I'd watch a porno with someone, parents included,&nbsp;instead of a &quot;legit&quot; film with a crappy sex scene if given the choice.</p>

That movie was so terrible and disappointing that I don't even think that scene could wake me up. What were those people even thinking making that movie? And is it safe to say that that movie killed Meg Ryan's career?

<p>I remember seeing Fire in the Sky when i was around 10-11 and it totally freaked me the fuck out. Anytime it's on Sci Fi i get a little uneasy.</p><p>There's a scene in Stir of Echoes towards the end where Kevin Bacon is flashing back to how the girl in the movie was killed. </p><p>It's not that graphic or horrible but they show her face hit the ground or something and a tooth gets knocked out and her clawing against the floor while her fingertip snaps in half. The combination of seeing it and the sound effects they used makes me want to curl up into the fetal position and enter the womb again.&nbsp;</p>
