Not sure if anyone else will find this interesting, but I'm fascinated by what was once considered acceptable main-stream entertainment and is now seen as horribly bad taste and just plain wrong.

Anyways, click the link for BANNED CARTOONS

There's a lot of potential material there for ESD to tap into for Jivey's routine.

I wonder when these were banned, because there are some on there I remember seeing as a kid in the 70's.

Nice - thanks for the link. I have some of these but haven't seen a lot of them. The WWII ones are really cool.
Nothing like rampant racism, heavy violence, and jingoism. Excellent stuff.

A few if not all are part of the infamous Censored Eleven.

According to Wiki they were stopped being broadcast in 1968.

bookmarked.

I absolutely love old animation and especially ones that could never be aired today. I even have a lot of the original disney stuff on DVD but they aren't quite as taboo even by todays standards.

I've actually seen that one on TV not long ago but this is the first time I saw that editted scene
